I was born in Munich on the 11th December 1992. At the age of 12 I started kitesurfing with my Dad and from that day onwards it became my favourite sport.
In the summer of 2007 I was allowed to stay 6 weeks at the Lake Reschen in Italy and that was about the time I started dreaming about becoming a pro. Since 2008 I spend my summer holidays on Langeoog, a beautiful island in the north west of Germany with perfect wind conditions. After passing my Kitesurf-Instructor license, I started to work for the local Kiteschool (www.kiteboarding-langeoog.de) during my school holidays. Michael Recktenwald, a passionate kiteboarder and owner of the Hotel Strandeck on Langeoog (www.strandeck.de), supports me since 2009, another reason why the island became a second home to me. In 2009 I started competing in the German Trophy, being quite successful with hitting the podium twice and becoming Rookie of the year.
After finishing my A-Levels in 2011, I worked hard to improve my tricks, by traveling to Brazil, Egypt, Tarifa, France and many other different spots around Europe! In 2012 I moved to Hamburg to be closer to the water and since 2013 I’m studying industrial engineering. But I’m still able to live my dream: Traveling around the world, getting to know many different cultures and people, being on the water as much as possible and competing against the top of the world. And I appreciate every single day of it! With my sponsors I found some great partners, who support me perfectly and I’m convinced that together with them, I can make my way to the top!
